A controversial rodeo clown who lost his job at the Missouri state fair last month for mocking the president, has now found work in the state capitol.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports that rodeo clown Tuffy Gessling hammed it up for the crowd during a pro bull riding event last Friday night in Jefferson City.

Gessling said he’s still surprised that people take offense at his routine.

At the state fair, a character wearing an Obama mask stood in the middle of the bull ring while Gessling used the P.A. for comments like “We’re gonna stomp Obama”.

A spectator with a cell phone  took exception, took video, and the video went world-wide.

Gessling says he’s been doing his president-in-the-bull-ring routine for years and used several past presidents’ faces in addition to Obama.

After the incident at Sedalia last month, state fair officials banned Gessling from the fairgrounds forever.

Top politicians from the governor on down apologised.

Tuffy the clown, though, says the show will go on.  . .just as it did last Friday night in Jefferson City.
