ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A man charged in one of last year’s string of St. Louis County pizza delivery driver robberies is scheduled to stand trial today.

Trevor Tysinger, 22, was allegedly wearing a mask when he approached the Domino’s driver in a hallway at Florissant’s Delrado Apartments in May of last year.

Police say Tysinger pulled a handgun, grabbed the pizza and cash bag, and ran off. In addition to the pizza, he made off with $15.

Prosecutors say that when he was arrested, Tysinger was in the possession of the mask, was wearing the same clothing, and confessed to detectives.

The robbery occurred just days after an Imo’s delivery driver was shot and killed while making a delivery.
