Saturday, November 9th, at 10:30 AM, St. Louis’ oldest first-run movie theater, the Hi Pointe at 1005 McCausland, begins it annual Thanksgiving and Christmas film series with the Irving Berlin musical from 1942, “Holiday Inn.”

“Holiday Inn” stars Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Virginia Dale and Marjorie Reynolds. The feather light storyline makes for the perfect vehicle for a wealth of Irving Berlin music and some classic choreography.

Doors open at 10:00 AM and admission is $5 for everyone. Typically, there are some attendance prizes and special announcements. I will be introducing the motion picture at 10:15 AM.
