BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) – A family member notified KMOX, Sunday afternoon, that a volunteer search from Harley Park led to the discovery of a body believed to be a missing Boonville man.

Boonville police say an autopsy will be done to confirm the man’s cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.

Michael Magyar had been missing since Tuesday.

St. Louis (KMOX) A Boonville man has not been seen or heard from since Tuesday–and his family is worried.

Boonville Police say 47 year old Michael Magyar left his home with a small amount of cash and credit cards. Relatives say the cards have not been used. Police say they do not suspect foul play.

The missing man’s brother-George Magyar-tells KMOX a search is planned for Sunday morning starting at Harley Park in Boonville at 10am.

Magyar is described as 5-11–240 pounds–green eyes–brown hair–wearing a black fleece pullover with a pirate logo..
