ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- A 2013 finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame is being recognized for his enthusistic and dedicated support of sports in St. Louis.

Former Rams cornerback Aeneas Williams has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Missouri Athletic Club’s “Jack Buck Award.”

He’ll be honored at the 2013 Jack Buck Sports Awards dinner, sponsored by Maryville University on Wednesday, December 11.

The event is open to the public. Make reservations now by calling 314-539-4470. Admission is $125 per person. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the program at 8 p.m. The Missouri Athletic Club is located in downtown St. Louis at 405 Washington Ave. The banquet will be broadcast on KMOX Radio.

During his 14-year career, Williams made eight Pro Bowl appearances and was an integral part of the Rams 2001 NFC championship team. Since his retirement in 2004, he has made St. Louis home and has made a positive impact in the community as a pastor through his ministries.
