ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) –  The Holiday Magic Train pulled into the Shrewsbury MetroLink station Tuesday morning, and the “Kingsbury Place Singers” dressed in Victorian era garb were there to greet passengers with the sounds of the season.

On board the train was Bi-State Development Agency president & CEO John Nations.

“The Holiday Magic Train will officially go into service for the holiday season this Friday (Nov. 29),” Nations announced. “This is our fourth year of partnering with the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission to present this special holiday magic blue and white winter wonderland on the rails!”

Also announced was a series of “On The Rails” events featuring the Charles Glenn Duo on Sat. Nov. 30th and local favorite, singer-songwriter Beth Bombara on Sat. Dec. 7th

There will also be special live music events at Metro Transit Centers throughout the month of December.
