Jolijt Tamanaha, GSEA Thrive competition winner and a junior at Washington University, was given the Social Impact Award for her business, Farmplicity. Tamanaha won the award at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) Global Finals.

The 35th in a series on growing innovative entrepreneurism in the STL region with Bob Steffen, co-founder of Cars-N-Kids, a pressure device that is now built into a car seat which allows a smartphone app to communicate with a sensor inside the car seat to send phone alerts if a child is left in a car seat for several minutes after the vehicle has stopped.
