Charlie replays his June 2008 book club interview with the Voice of the San Diego Padres Jerry Coleman, second-baseman who played on 8 NY Yankee pennant-winning teams, 6 of them World Series Champions, who spent more than 40years as a broadcaster for the San Diego Padres, who was a Marine combat veteran, and who wrote the book, “An American Journey: My Life on the Field, In the Air, and On the Air”. Mr. Coleman passed away this past Sunday at the age of 89.
