ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Mizzou Wide Receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested Saturday morning along with two other men for possible possession of marijuana.

Springfield, Missouri Police spokesman Captain Vance Holland says Green-Beckham was the passenger in a Jeep Cherokee that was stopped because of an expired license plate. When an officer approached the car, “he smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.”

Police searched the Jeep and found about a pound of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. No charges have been filed against any of the three men pending lab tests and results of the police interviews with the men.

On Saturday the 20-year-old star player tweeted:

Green-Beckham was charged in October of 2012 with marijuana possession after he and two teammates were reportedly smoking pot in a campus parking lot near Memorial Stadium.
