ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – For this first time this season, Saint Louis University is ranked in the Associated Press mens college basketball Top 25.

The 15-2 Billikens of the Atlantic 10 Conference enter the poll at 24th.

Previously-ranked Missouri (21) and Illinois (23) fell out of the Top 25 this week, following losses. Eleven ranked teams dropped at least one game in the past week.

Joining SLU on the list of Top 25 newcomers are: #19 Cincinnati, #20 Creighton, #22 Pittsburgh, and in a tie for #25 – Oklahoma & UCLA.

The AP’s Top 5 are: Arizona, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Wichita State (of the Missouri Valley Conference).

Missouri is ranked 27th this week in terms of votes.
