ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Ameren customers in Missouri and Illinois can now get information about their account sent to them via text message or email.
Ameren Customer Experience Directo, Tara Oglesby says this makes managing your account online much easier and faster.
“We’re proactively keeping you informed. Using a channel that most people prefer now, text or email,” says Oglesby.
She says this will also be useful when there’s a power outage. Residents can receive a text when the outage is reported and will get another if the restoration time changes.
“It lets you know when your bill is due, when it first comes out, says Oglesby. “It gives you a reminder five days before if a payment hasn’t been received. It will also tell you if you happened to miss the date,” says Oglesby.
