ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) – St. Charles City Police say they’re investigating a report of an attempted sexual assault in a bathroom at Lindenwood University’s Library.

The incident was reported Friday morning, but allegedly happened late Tuesday night, between 10 p.m. and midnight.

The school sent out a text message blast and an email to students, saying a female student told authorities she was attacked from behind by a man who was hiding in the stall. She says he was about 5 ft., 10 in. tall.

She managed to get away from him after a brief struggle.

Police say they will release more details after they investigate further.
