ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The St. Louis Rams are still looking for a veteran quarterback to push starter Sam Bradford as he returns from injury.
And, it appears former New York Jets starter Mark Sanchez could be an option.
Rams coach Jeff Fisher told USA today football writer Jim Corbett on Sunday that the team does have interest in the fifth year pro out of the University of Southern California.
Sanchez previously worked with Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer in New York.
The Jets recently released Sanchez and signed Michael Vick as a backup.
The Rams lost their backup quarterback from last year, Kellen Clemens, to San Diego.
