WWE Monday Night RAW comes to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis on April 28th and fans are expecting a great event. Not only will “WWE World Heavyweight Champion” Daniel Bryan be there, but A-list celebrity Hugh Jackman will also be at the show serving as the guest host of RAW.

Let’s start with some of the back-story from WrestleMania XXX that will play into tonight’s event in St. Louis. WrestleMania XXX had several big moments. Undertaker suffered his first loss at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar, Cesaro picked up the Big Show and tossed him over the top rope to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy and the Shield squashed Kane & the New Age Outlaws in three minutes. But the moment that satisfied wrestling fans around the world was Daniel Bryan finally getting his moment as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The next night on WWE Monday Night RAW, the momentum continued for many of these. Daniel Bryan came out to one of the largest crowd reactions I’ve ever heard. Fans in the arena chanted “You deserve it!” Cesaro is on the rise and this continued as he joined forces with Paul Heyman. Cesaro’s presence is growing in WWE and his night at the Scottrade Center could be a big one. The Undertaker was not on the show after suffering a severe concussion at the very beginning of his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. The Shield made a huge impact as they helped Daniel Bryan against Triple H, Kane, Batista, & Randy Orton.

The following week on WWE Monday Night RAW, Triple H put the Shield in an 11 on 3 handicap match. Of course, the numbers would get the best of the Shield. After the 11 men beat down the Shield, Triple H, Batista, & St. Louis native Randy Orton came walking out as Evolution. For those that don’t know, Evolution was a wrestling stable back in the early 2000’s that consisted of Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, & Randy Orton. They were one of the most powerful wrestling stables of all time.

This past week, Kane returned with his mask on and beat up Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan took three tombstone pile-drivers, in the ring, on the steps and one on the announcers table. Daniel Bryan needed to be written-off TV for the rest of the show since his father passed away. Later that night it was announced that Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane at the Extreme Rules event on May 4. Also, Evolution will face the Shield in what should be a fantastic match.

All of this drama now leads us to tonight’s event in St. Louis. Will Daniel Bryan seek revenge on the “Big Red Monster” Kane? Will the Shield finally get their hands on Evolution? Questions will be answered at Scottrade Center.

This upcoming edition of WWE Monday Night RAW is the “Go Home” show before the Extreme Rules event. All story lines could reach a breaking point before the big event and a night of chaos is without a doubt in store for WWE fans. St. Louis will also get a special dark match that will take place after the show has gone off the air. It is a special ten-man Tag Team match: Daniel Bryan, John Cena, & the Shield vs Batista, Randy Orton & the Wyatt Family.

Hugh Jackman returns to WWE Monday RAW for the second time and this time around, he looks to make amends with Dolph Ziggler. In 2011, Jackman was working as the manager for Zack Ryder as he wrestled Dolph Ziggler. Jackman punched Ziggler in the face causing Ryder to hit his finishing move and pick up the win. While Jackman comes back to shake Ziggler’s hand he will also be promoting his new “X-Men” film, “X-Men: Days of Future’s Past.”

With all of this drama, WWE Monday Night RAW in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center will be a fun and exciting show.

Tribute to The Ultimate Warrior:

Two weeks ago, the wrestling world lost a legend and an icon. The Ultimate Warrior passed away just three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and a day after appearing on WWE Monday Night RAW one last time. In retrospect, the speech he gave at RAW now seems eerie: “Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life, makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them believe in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory, of those who honor him and make whatever that did live forever.”

As a child, the Ultimate Warrior was my hero. There will never be another person like him. The Ultimate Warrior is gone but never forgotten and he will live on in the memory and spirit of what he called his fans… the Warriors.
