Thirty students were honored at the 2014 KMOX Southeast Missouri State University Celebration of Outstanding Students Luncheon, Friday, at the Hilton at the Ballpark.

This annual award, created by Jack Buck in 1993, recognizes students throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area that have shown achievements in athletics, academics, community service, the arts, and leadership.  All of the 30 students recognized will receive a scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University that is renewable for four consecutive years with a 3.5 GPA.

This year’s Jack Buck Finalists were: Laura Bauman, Maureen Herring, Brittany Moleski, and Sabrina Flohr.

Being a Southeast graduate myself, it was great to see all these students at the luncheon accept this award and start their collegiate journey.
