ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – The public is invited to tour the historic Compton Hill Water Tower tonight.
Organizers say visitors will be able to see the first full moon of the summer as well as a 360 degree view of the metro area including the Jefferson Barracks Bridge and Clayton from the 179 foot tower.
The tower will be open tonight from 5:30 to midnight.
The tour costs $5 for adults, $3 for children six to 12 to climb the tower, kids under five are free. Food trucks and live music are part of the festivities.
The Compton Hill Water Tower will be open on select Saturdays and for each full moon this year.
