Granite City, IL (KMOX) A domestic dispute in Granite City this (Saturday) afternoon ends with a man being shot by a Granite City police officer.
Police say a domestic dispute in the 2400 block of Delmar Avenue became violent when a man struck an elderly woman-then stabbed another man.
When police arrived they confronted the suspect and that’s when the officer shot him.
The elderly woman and the stabbing victim are said to have non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is in serious condition.
The shooting is being investigated by the Illinois State Police.
