CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX)- After a bitterly-contested Democratic primary and the finality of the general election, the sitting St. Louis County Executive and the executive-elect haven’t talked -about anything- and it doesn’t look like Charlie Dooley and Steve Stenger are going to get together anytime soon.
“There’s been no communication, period, ” Dooley told KMOX.
“I have been advised of nothing,” said Stenger.
Stenger says he can’t get in touch with Dooley, so he’s been going to St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar for information on Ferguson. He also says that if Dooley doesn’t want to talk, then he should appoint a liasion for the transition.
Dooley says his phone line isn’t broken, “Has he contacted me? No, he has not.”
