TORONTO (KMOX/AP) – The top pick of the St. Louis Blues in the 2014 NHL Draft left Friday’s World Junior hockey tournament game between Canada and Denmark with a lower body injury.

Nineteen-year-old forward Robby Fabbri got hurt during the first period of Canada’s 8-0 quarterfinal victory.

Sportsnet Canada reporter Megan Robinson tweeted after the game that Fabbri suffered a high ankle sprain and will be sidelined for the rest of the tournament. She also reported Canadian coach Benoit Groulx told her the NHL prospect did not suffer an ankle fracture.

Canada will face Slovakia in a semifinal.
