This Sunday morning included conversations about fighting crime, helping make St. Louis more accessible, golf and Cinderella.

The Executive Director of St. Louis Regional Crimestoppers, Lisa Pisciotta told us about their efforts to raise funds so they can offer bigger rewards for tips called into their anonymous hotline, 1-866-371-TIPS. You can hear what she had to say here. You can also go to Crimestoppers’ website here.

Paraquad has started a new program to help St. Louis businesses and organizations create a more accessible city. We got the details from Accessible STL Community Access Coordinator Christy Herzing. She has some great information here. You can check out their website here.

Next month the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame is holding a great event, “Heroes of Golf”. It will include “The Black Knight” Gary Player, Nick Price and longtime local pro Dick Shapier (who gave Brian golf lessons many years ago). It will also mark the debut of the Randolph Golf Achievement Awards, honoring local amateurs. HOF President Greg Marecek has the details, and unveils the Randolph Award winners for the first time hereFor more information, here’s the St. Louis Hall of Fame’s website.

Thanks for joining us this weekend. Enjoy the beautiful day and we’ll talk to you next Saturday!
