JUPITER, Fla. (KMOX) – The Cardinals have one less left-handed arm in their bullpen.
The team announced a trade, Saturday, with the Texas Rangers, involving pitcher Sam Freeman.
In exchange, the Cards will get a player to be named later or cash.
The 27-year-old Freeman was a 32nd round draft pick by St. Louis in 2008. He appeared in 81 big league games, including 44 in 2014.
