ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Former Missouri linebacker Michael Sam may be heading north to play football.
The general manager of the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes says his team has a 50-50 chance of signing the free agent.
According to Sports Illustrated, Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by the NFL, says signing with Montreal is a possibility.
Sam was drafted and cut by the St. Louis Rams, before being cut from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad last October.
