We begin what’s going to be a beautiful weekend with talk of the Blues, the GO! St. Louis Marathon and Family Fitness Weekend and by introducing some new additions to our show recap. We’re adding our birthday celebrations, holidays and other hopefully interesting moments from the program.
Our birthdays include a Kennedy, “Boon” and the Cardinals’ “Koz.” The holidays we’re celebrating today include one honoring a popular party song, one commemorating the way we used to listen to music, especially in our conversion vans, and one Brian’s just-born great niece will enjoy.
There was also the time Brian tried to talk Italian (it wasn’t pretty).
Our Blues are heading to the playoffs on a roll. We got the update from the man who calls the games on KMOX, Chris Kerber.
A lot of people will be walking and running around town this weekend. President Nancy Lieberman joined us to talk about the GO! St. Louis Marathon and Family Fitness Weekend.
And Harry Hamm reviewed “Woman in Gold”.
You can listen to it all, or download it onto your mobile device, here.
On Sunday, at 8:35 we’ll preview a very important conference for returning vets with PTSD. At 9:35 we’ll learn all about the 11th annual Purina Pooches at the Ballpark game.
Harry will check in at 7:52 to review the new Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts movie, ” While We Are Young”.
Plus we’ll have the latest news, sports and weather.
Have a great Saturday! We’ll talk with you tomorrow!
Maria and Brian
