If you have been paying any attention to the news as of late you may have heard that California is in a severe drought and the lower plains states are experiencing severe flooding.
A newly proposed plan using sewage water is in the works to help Californians still irrigate their lawns and gardens. It is not winning people over, but the idea is not a new one. The Chicago Tribune has the story.
On the flip side, folks in Texas and Oklahoma have had more than their share of water in the last few weeks with lots of flash flooding. In some cases water has risen as much as 25 feet in an hour. We turn to CNN who has more details on the deaths and devastation in both states.
