PACIFIC (KMOX) – The Major Case Squad has made an arrest in the double murder in Pacific that happened around the 500 block of Monroe Street Monday night.

Corey Dreiling, 26, and his 35-year old roommate were found in their Pacific apartment.

Deputy Commander of the Major Case Squad Lt. Gary Higginbotham says 22-year old Aaron Hodges is now in custody. Hodges will face two counts of murder in the first-degree and two counts of armed criminal action.

The 35-year old victim’s name will not be released until the family is notified. Higginbotham says that Hodges knew the victims and they were acquaintances.

Police say that the motive is not clear as of now. Investigators are not releasing where Hodges was found, but say that he was arrested shortly after the killings.
