ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) -Two suspects lead police on a car chase following a drive-by shooting. Police found a car matching the description of the suspect vehicle and when they finally stopped, a 2-year-old girl was discovered in the backseat.

St. Louis County Police say a man was standing outside a residence in the 9600 block of Glen Owen when a green Pontiac G6 drove by and a passenger fired multiple times at the victim. He was shot once in the foot and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police pursued the vehicle in a chase that lasted about 20 minutes. The suspect vehicle was involved in an accident on Pine, but continued driving. It was eventually stopped in the 3900 block of Washington and the two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested without incident. Police then discovered the child. She was not hurt.

Police are saying the shooting was not related to the Michael Brown activities.
