Fans are invited to join the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, August 30th from noon until 3 p.m. at Ballpark Village as they kick off the 2015-16 season with Ice Breaker 2015.
Be there to welcome back Vladimir Tarasenko, captain David Backes, defenseman Alex Pietrangelo and welcome new forward Troy Brouwer. Chris Pronger, who will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November, will also be there.
The event is free and will feature live music from the Charles Glenn Band, prize giveaways and appearances from Louie, Blue Crew and Angella. Fans attending the event will get Ballpark Village parking validated free from noon until 3 p.m.
Ice Breaker 2015 kicks off at noon with Angella, Louie and Blue Crew. Fans can put their slapshot skills to the test and play street hockey on the outdoor inflatable rink. Fans will also have opportunities to win prizes and purchase team merchandise.
At 1:00, enjoy live music from the Charles Glenn Band. Then at 1:30, Blues broadcasters John Kelly and Chris Kerber hit the FOX Sports Midwest Live! stage. Guests include Vladimir Tarasenko, David Backes, Alex Pietrangelo, Chris Pronger and Blues Chairman Tom Stillman. New Blue Troy Brouwer will also be introduced.
The Charles Glenn Band takes the stage again from 2:30 until 3:00. Fans are encouraged to hang out at FOX Sports Midwest Live! to cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals as they take on the San Francisco Giants.
