If you like bar-b-q and beer this is your weekend! With Oktoberfests all around town and “Q in the Lou” downtown you’re all set.

We got the lowdown on “Q In The Lou” from Mack Bradley. It opened Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday at the Solders’ Memorial downtown. In addition to 9 celebrity pit masters it features beer and plenty of live music. For more click here.

Harry Hamm reviewed the new Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway flick “The Intern”. He says it gets a ‘little schmaltzy’ near the end but is an old-fashioned, fun story. He gives it 3 1/2 stars.

The birthdays we celebrated were: David Frizzell’s 74th, Kent McCord’s 73rd, Olivia Newton-John’s 67th, Linda Hamilton’s 59th, Melissa Sue Anderson 53rd and Serena Williams’ 34th.

On Sunday we’ll celebrate the dedication of the new school at St. Margaret of Scotland and talk with Belleville native, astronaut Sandy Magnus.

Plus Harry will review “Pawn Sacrifice”.

We’ll talk with you then!
