We hope your weekend is off to a great start. Thanks for checking in!

As St. Louis holds it’s 32nd annual Veterans Day Observance, we had the honor of talking with the mother of a Marine who was wounded while serving in Afghanistan. Mary Jane Hanrahan talks about her son and what Veterans Day means to her. You can hear our conversation here.

Flu season is fast approaching, and on Saturday the St. Louis County Health Department is holding a free flu mist clinic. Children 2 to 18-years-old can receive the vaccine from 10 am until 2 pm at the Affton White-Rodgers Community Center at 9801 MacKenzie Road in Affton. Department Director Dr. Faisal Khan tells us all about it, and talks about the upcoming flu season, here.

It’s fitting that one of the birthdays we celebrate today is that of a Cardinals pitcher who went to the Naval Academy! Find out who that is and who the other celebrants are here.

And the new James Bond movie, “Spectre” is out. Harry Hamm reviews it and “Mama Mia” at The Fox here.

On Sunday, Harry reviews “Brooklyn”, we celebrate Webster University’s 100th birthday and learn about a fundraiser for scholarships for hospitality workers.

Have a great day. We’ll talk with you tomorrow!
