Our first TIAM Weekend of 2016 included an update on how the Red Cross is helping area flood victims, a preview of a terrific event for a great cause and Harry Hamm’s review of 2015.
The Red Cross has been on the ground helping those who have been chased from their homes by the area’s flooding rivers. Eastern Missouri CEO Cindy Erickson provided us with the latest update. To hear it click here. You can help the Red Cross by calling 1-800-Red-Cross or going to redcross.org. You can make a $10 donation by texting REDCROSS to 90999.
You have a chance to hear from Bob Gibson and Joe Torre while helping an organization that helps children battling cancer and their families. The National Children’s Cancer Society’s 4th annual “An Evening with The Cardinals” is January 30th at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel Doubletree Grand Ballroom. If you click here you’ll hear Society Vice-President Lori Millner tell us all about the amazing evening and how the society helps children and their families with the many challenges they face when facing cancer. For more information and to get tickets, go to thenccs.org.
We haven’t heard from Harry Hamm since last year, so in his first appearance of 2016 he looks back at the top ten movies of 2015. Hear his list here.
Do you like motorcycles? Tomorrow at 8:35 am we’ll get your motor running with a preview of the 2nd annual STL Motorcycle show.
We’ll also have the latest on the flooding and all the news, weather, sports and more.
We’ll talk with you then!
