Adam Wainwright first up in the bunting competition. There are two rings drawn that pitchers try to land their bunts in. One point for landing in the near ring, two for the far ring. Imagine an ice cream cone extending from the plate. Fierce competition!

Here’s what it looks (and sounds) like to stand 10 feet from Matt Holliday as he takes batting practice. The last swing sent the ball over the left field fence and hit a porta-potty, on probably the furthest ball I’ve seen hit all week.
