It’s Opening Day! So, to get you ready for Cardinals’ baseball we heard a little Jack Buck, learned about the new National Blues Museum, got an update on the local theater scene and celebrated the birthday of a St. Louis woman who turns 105!

One of the great Jack Buck stories involves a young man with Cystic Fibrosis who got a very special gift while sitting in the broadcast booth at Busch Stadium II. Hear Jack tell it, as only he can, here.

The National Blues Museum is now open! If you click here you’ll hear some of those involved in the new downtown landmark talk about it. To find out more, click here.

The local theater scene is hopping! Harry Hamm tells us about that and the weekend box office numbers here.

There’s a lot to celebrate today in addition to Opening Day! Hear the list here.

And, there’s a baseball theme (as much as possible) to our birthday list today, including a great bit involving Mickey, Roger and Yogi! Plus, we had the honor of celebrating a young woman’s 105th birthday! Hear it all here.

So there you have it, we’re ready for the first pitch! Have a great week. We’ll visit with you next weekend.

PLAY BALL!
