What a beautiful weekend! We got it started with an update on the highway project that’s impacting St. Charles, getting a local expert’s take on the latest Zika virus news, getting Harry’s reviews of “Jersey Boys” and “The Nice Guys” and celebrating some birthdays.

Eastbound I-70 is closed and westbound is down to one lane between Highway 94 and 5th Street this weekend. MoDOT St. Charles Area Engineer Jim Wright joined us to talk about the project, including the best alternates (hint: they’re 364, 370 and 64/40). You can hear what he had to say here. To get a live look at the highway click here.

Friday, the government announced a big increase in the number of pregnant women in the U.S. infected with the Zika virus. How concerned should we be? Former Homeland Security Chief Medical officer Dr. Alexander Garza, who’s now St. Louis University’s Public Health Policy Associate Director, has some great information here.

“Jersey Boys” is back at the Fox Theater. Harry Hamm has seen it and, and loved it! Hear his review of that and “The Nice Guys” here.

Among the celebrities celebrating birthdays today are a singer who feels like dancing and a funny U.S. Senator. That list is here.

The renovated St. Louis riverfront will open soon! Tomorrow, we’ll hear about the big “Picnic On The Riverfront” on June 2nd.

Plus, we’ll recap all the days news, sports, weather and business information.

You’re invited to join us from 6:30 until 9:30. Until then, have a great day and LET’S GO BLUES!
