The suspect is described as a black male, between 5’1″ and 5’3″, thin with lighter skin along with short dread locks. There was a black female female with him described as light skinned, short, with a thin build.

The business surveillance system caught her image before the robbery happened.

“The suspect quickly pulled a handgun and pointed it in the owners face and ordered him to get out of the car…” Dixon says. “The owner out of natural reaction, was scared and saw the gun close to his face. He swiped at the gun and whenever he hit the gun, the gun actually discharged.”

The victim was not hit and leaped from the car. He went back to his friend, then pursued the suspect and called 911.

Police started pursuing the suspect into St. Louis, but broke off the chase when speeds hit 100 miles per hour. The suspect did continue westbound over the Poplar Street Bridge.
