COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – The Madison County State’s Attorney’s office announces charges in a Collinsville homicide case, dating back to last December.

Jessie James Werley,34, and 45-year-old Eva Heisch both face three counts of first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery.

Reisch is a former acquaintance of the victim.

Prosecutors say the duo stabbed 68-year-old Daniel Taylor inside his home on Ostle Drive during the robbery.

Major Case Squad detectives assisted Collinsville Police with the investigation.

Werley is in custody of the St. Francois County Missouri Sheriff’s Department, awaiting extradition. Collinsville Police took Reisch into custody.

Bond is set at $1 million for each.
