ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – It’s a big honor for St. Louis’s “Wizard of Oz.”

The National Baseball Hall of Fame announced Saturday that retired Cardinals shortstop Ozzie Smith has been named to the Hall’s board of directors.

Smith has been active with Cooperstown outreach since his own Hall induction in 2002.
