ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Several Midwestern governors and Japanese government officials are meeting in St. Louis for the 48th annual Midwest US-Japan Association Conference.

The event, which included delegates taking in yesterday Cardinals’ game, will wrap up Tuesday.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will deliver the official welcoming remarks this morning. Among other speakers will be Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
