CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) – The Clayton Board of Alderman last night tabled the Apogee Tower project on Forsyth Boulevard until mid-October.

Crest Management wants to build a 14-story tower, which would neighbor Shaw Park Plaza.

Gary Feder, the lawyer for Shaw Park Plaza, says the board’s decisions is frustrating because they have issues with the scope of the Apogee project which they want addressed sooner than later.

“We think it’s oversized, makes unreasonable demands on central parking that’s available in the area. We would like the project built in accordance to existing regulations,” Feder says.

The project would exceed a three-decade old ordinance limiting the size of any development built at that location.
