RIVERVIEW, Mo. (KMOX) – St. Louis County police have charged a Ferguson man in the shooting death of a man he didn’t mean to kill.
Anthony Clemons,26, faces charges of first degree murder, first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Police say he fired 8 to 10 rounds at two people in a parking lot but lost sight of them.
A few minutes later, Clemons spotted 26-year-old Marvell Kindle running down Diamond Drive near Chambers Road in Riverview and fired three shots – killing him.
Police say Clemons admitted to several people he had killed a person.
He is being held without bond.
