ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Among the many creative Presidential Debate festivities, Schlafly has launched a special election-inspired beer called POTUS, a limited-release American Lager.
Guests can buy the special beer, and in their choice of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton glassware.
“Fed up with our current political climate? You can also choose to raise the ominous black pint glass and just support local beer,” a news release says.
On debate night – Sunday, Oct. 9 – Schlafly Bottleworks will host a “Pints for POTUS” viewing party, featuring a complimentary Americana menu with classics from hot dogs, burgers and apple pie from 6 to 8 p.m with a beverage purchase.
Guests will be able to keep the special glassware on this night only, with the purchase of a pint of POTUS.
Guests can watch the debate in both the bar and the private event space of the Crown Room, starting at 8 p.m.
POTUS and the glassware will be available until the election, or while supplies last.
