ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A new facility in St. Louis will bring hundreds of jobs to the area over the next decade.

Approximately 700 jobs will be added at Boeing’s new composite center which officially opens today. The nearly 500,000-square-foot facility will be used to build parts for Boeing’s newest commercial jetliner.

Work on the new plane will begin early next year. The first delivery is targeted for 2020. Governor Jay Nixon and Senator Roy Blunt will be on hand for the ceremony.
