BEL-RIDGE, Mo. (KMOX) – The longtime police chief of Bel-Ridge has been suspended without pay and faces a termination vote before aldermen tomorrow.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Gordon Brock was suspended by the mayor for a list of 37 charges including taking bribes, removing arrest records and taking money from a found wallet.

Brock says the allegations are false. He’s been with the department 26 years and acted as chief for the last 16 years.
