Next Thursday, as part of its state convention, the NAACP will be hosting a Diversity Career Fair. National NAACP Board Member John Gaskin was on the program to tell us all about it. To hear the details click here.

St. Louis is rocking this weekend with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, one of the most exciting running events of the year. Director Katie Holmes tells us what’s on tap here.

The Rep’s second main stage show of the season is a world premiere. “Until the Flood” deals with Ferguson in 2014. Harry Hamm’s review is here.

Among those celebrating birthdays today are Alice, Laverne and a St. Louis music legend, who co-founded one of the region’s great bands. You can hear that list here.

On Sunday, we’ll interview the author of the book “Unmade in America: Industrial Flight and the Decline of Black Communities.” Plus, Harry will review the new Ben Affleck Movie “The Accountant”.  We’ll also have all the latest news, sports and weather information.

Thank you for checking in. Have a great day! We’ll visit with you on Sunday!

Maria and Brian
