On this Halloween Eve we checked out some apps that help you keep track of your little trick or treaters, interviewed the lead singer of the band Kansas, got Harry’s take on the new show at the The Rep Studio Theater AND celebrated the birthdays of a local astronaut and the coolest guy on TV.

Lexi Savvides of C-NET provided a report on apps that help you keep track of where your costumed kid is on Halloween night and tell you which homes are giving out candy. You can hear her report here.

How does a Chicago area kid become the lead singer of Kansas? What’s it like to replace a rock’n’roll legend and how ’bout those Cubs? Brian talked about that and much more with Ronnie Platt. You can hear the extended version of the interview we aired on the show, right here.

The Rep Studio Theater is presenting “Mothers and Sons”. You can hear Harry Hamm’s review here.

Our birthday list today includes a Shuttle Commander from Belleville, Il, the Fonz and a great piece of music from a member of the Eagles and Poco. Hear ’em all here.

We hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day. Have a great week and we’ll check back in next Saturday.

Maria and Brian
