HIGHLAND, ILL. (KMOX) – A Metro East man is charged with sexual assault and abuse for alleged incidents that go back nearly 20 years.
50-year-old Eric Liening of Highland could face more than seventy years in prison if convicted of assaulting an 11-year-old boy at a bowling alley from January of 1999 to January of 2001.
Madison County State’s Attorney Tom Gibbons says the case remains open, and they want to hear from anyone else who may have been a victim of Liening.
