LAWRENCE COUNTY, M0. (KMOX) – It’s not a good idea to throw a knife at a conservation agent.

A southwest Missouri man is heading to prison for five years after being found guilty of doing just that.

43-year-old Freddie Garrison, of Reeds, had some charges dropped in exchange for pleading guilty to second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

The incident happened in Lawrence County last May.
