We are offering the following services Parenting Classes, Family Advocacy, Professional Development, Life-Skills, Job Readiness, Budgeting and an Emergency Respite Shelter. Community Lifeline was established in 2004 as a 501©(3) nonprofit organization, to provide programs that simultaneously address the educational, physical, social, and spiritual needs of families in our community.

The mission of Community Lifeline is to rebuild communities from the inside out with comprehensive programs designed to improve and enrich the lives of urban youth and families. We believe that by seeking a wholistic, long-term solution for meeting needs in a way that change how people think, ultimately will determine how they live! Within the last ten years we have served over 15,768 individuals.


The Primary focus is to promote healthy school and home environments that maximize students’ success. We provide the following educational support

  • Tutoring,
  • Mentoring,
  • Life Skills Workshops.


  • Preventive and Wellness Medical Checks and Seminars
  • Expungment Information
  • Budgeting Class with Active Spending Plans


The shelters offer 3-nights in a safe environment for people in crisis. In addition to a warm bed, we offer three meals per day and clothing assistance.


Our Employment Readiness training aims to change participants’ attitudes toward authority, culture and peers, enabling them to succeed in further skills training or education programs as well as the workplace.


Our Parenting Classes offers several options for group based parenting classes for the community in a variety of areas that can be utilized for parents seeking to
obtain parenting skills or for those who may have mandatory parenting education.
