ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Bricks or clicks or perhaps a combination. Retailers are turning their attention to their online customers today in hopes of moving merchandise. This after many analysts say was an impressive start to the holiday shopping season which kicked off on Black Friday.
CBS News Technology Analyst Larry Magid says analyst see plenty of consumers with cash to burn heading into this Cyber Monday.
“Some analysts are predicting that this year, Cyber Monday will be the largest online shopping day in history, with more than $6 billion in sales. And this is after a successful Black Friday, so it does appear that people are shopping a lot this year, whether in brick and mortar stores or online,” he says.
