ST. LOUIS (KM0X) – In true St. Louis Blues Alumni fashion, the players exited their locker room carrying a bucket of iced-down BudLight and limited edition 1933 Repeal Reserve ‎Budweiser. Then they took the ice for a friendly 3v3 game on the ice rink at Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Thursday night.

Some of the spectators were already at AB in downtown St. Louis to walk through the annual Brewery Lights display, but others came just to see the alumni skate.

The group included Larry Patey, Scott Mellanby, Jim Campbell, Terry Yake, Cam Janssen and others. Last night’s game was the first of three nights that Blues alumni will play at the AB rink. All the games start and 5 p.m., and are free to attend. After about an hour of skating many of the players will make their way to the AB Biergarten to sign autographs and meet fans.
