(KMOX) – A tree that all beer lovers can enjoy!
The Genesee Brewery based out of Rochester, New York, has created a Christmas tree made entirely out of beer kegs.
According to Food & Wine, the tree stands 27-feet-tall, and is constructed from 430 empty kegs, stacked in 11 layers, with more than 2,000 feet of green, red, and blue string lights, synchronized to holiday music.
The brewery built the massive Christmas keg tree to introduce a new Genesee beer, Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale, otherwise known as Keg Tree Ale.
December is official here, and that means it's Keg Tree time! Join us tonight for our annual Keg Tree Lighting. Live music, food, and some awesome surprises! Did we mention we will have to two new beers on tap?! It's a Scotch Ale battle, which will win over your taste buds?
